Pokemon Card Market Update #1

Collecting can be overwhelming at times! Especially during hype era periods where product is hard to find and prices are flying through the roof 🏠

On yesterday's stream we reviewed multiple listings of cards sold and shared thoughts and takeaways from that data! We looked at lots of "underrated and overrated" cards and sets based off their price, age and opportunity cost, looked at recent market predictions that have come to fruition and made some more predictions that we think may also follow suit 📝

While some cards and booster packs lost 50% of their value, others gained 100% or more in the same period (and for a reason!!!) 🤔 Our deep dives can hopefully help us continue to make our best informed decisions and navigate through the massive pokemon collecting world in a fun and sustainable way ✅

In 6 months we should be able to open 2x more Prismatic Evolutions as we can open today for the same price, while other sets and cards may fly away organically in the same time period 🦅

One example:

We looked at one fan favourite new eeveelution alt art card at today's price tag of $350 vs another older alt art eeveelution at $70!

We wouldn't be surprised if those FLIPPED each other and expect it to happen! The $350 one will likely be $90 in 6 months - lets come back to this to see where it lands in 6 months!
